What do you give to the person who has everything?

Over the years, I’ve found that to be one of the hardest questions to answer when it comes to the people you really care about and admire. You never want to settle for the same-old gift, but it’s hard to tap into your creativity and come up with something that really expresses how you feel.

I began my musical journey at a young age, learning on my own to play guitar and thoroughly enjoying our family band — made up from a handful of brothers, uncles and cousins. Although my first songs were written to reflect life growing up on a farm, I soon started writing music that honored people in my life who I admired. My father was one of the first people I wrote a song for, and is featured in many of my songs to-date, including “Working Man with a Family Plan”.

Over the years, I’ve written and performed songs for weddings (including my own!), anniversaries, memorials, career milestones, and event theme songs, just to name a few. After retiring recently from a 40-year career in the YMCA, I decided to turn this passion into a business, helping create one of a kind, once in a lifetime gifts.
